The basic modular font was adapted from a font called "Computer" designed by Jean Larcher, as illustrated in "Fantastic Alphabets" (Dover, 1976)

The second font is derived from the first, replacing each module with a circle in a square motif. It was named in honor of Victor Vasarely, the Op artist.

Just for fun, at the [ \ ] { | } positions are the six hidden bitmap icons that once appeared (OS 8) in the Mac screen font Geneva at various point sizes at the Y-dieresis position. With these fonts, it is now possible to access, use, and print the hiddens icons by typing the keystrokes below.
